How should I arrive for my Curl Session?
Please arrive with your hair freshly washed, fully detangled (there is a detangling fee if excessive detangling is needed), completely dry, and with a little to no styling products (no oils or heavy butters).
Please wear your hair down with NO headbands, ponytails, braids, buns, twist or braid outs, updo styles, or any style that will stretch your curl pattern.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW THIS HAIR PREP: I have the liberty to CANCEL and RESCHEDULE your appointment if you don’t prep your hair as I have requested.
Do you have Before & After pictures of your work?
What service do you recommend for first time clients?
The Whole Shebang is the only choice for first time clients. This service includes: a customized curly haircut, a styling lesson, a personalized styling routine, a bond reconstructing treatment, a moisture/protein balancing treatment, a Mist Hydration Session

Is a dry curly cut right for me?
If you wear your hair curly/natural more than 85% of the time, a dry curly cut will give your curls & coils a shape to compliment your natural texture. Your haircut is the foundation of your hair style!
Are your prices the same for short curly hair as they are for longer curly hair?
Yes, the prices are the same no matter the hair length.
How long are appointments?
Haircut and treatment appointments are usually 1 to 3 hours long depending on the density, texture, porosity, and current state of your hair.I recommend wearing comfortable clothes, bring entertainment and a snack.
Hair color appointments are 2 to 4 hours long or more.
Appointment times do not include drying times. Please do not make plans soon after getting your hair done to avoid rushing your service.
Do you have a waiting or cancellation list?
I do not.
How do I book my appointment?
I do all my booking/cancellations/updates online. All availability, policies, and services are listed there.
Do you offer consultations?
20 minute consultations are available to book online, if you would like to talk about your hair.
For scheduled appointments, the consultation will be offered at the beginning of the service.
Can I wear my curly haircut in a straight hair style?
If you wear your hair curly/natural most of the time, getting a curly cut is going to give your hair the best shape. If you plan to transition back to straight hair you may have some differences in the length due to the shrinkage factor of your hair.
Are you available for collaborations or projects?

Do you offer education for stylists?
Yes, one-on-one classes are available and I also travel per request for stylists. Please email floshairstudio@gmail.com for more information.
Do you offer services for children?
Yes, I offer my services for children 4 years old and up. Please keep in mind that if your child is unable to sit still or is extra tender-headed, they may not be ready for a service at this time.
Prices are the same for children and adults.
